Seoul, South Korea (4E) – During an official presentation in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung accidentally confirmed that the highly-expected Galaxy Note 10 is on its way after leaking photos of the flagship smartphone.
The presentation took place at Samsung’s headquarters on Saturday. During the event, an image of the new smartphone, alongside the name Galaxy Note 10 was revealed to the public.
The first media outlet to spot the images was Tech Radar. Apparently, the pictures of the tech giant’s flagship smartphone appeared on a slide with dozens of other Samsung Galaxy devices.
Once people noticed the leaked photo of the new smartphone, the South Korean company said this was nothing more than a render of a “reference device.”
However, Samsung Electronics CEO DJ Koh eventually referenced the smartphone by name at the same media event in Seoul.
Koh told reporters, “and for our Note 10, it will be another phase for Bixby.” This phrase immediately became viral since it represented the first time the tech giant has publicly name-checked its new mobile device.
Rumors surrounding Samsung’s flagship smartphone suggest it will be officially unveiled at an Unpacked event in New York on August. 7th.
